The little lady :)
This little lady.. I don’t know what I would do without. Yes she’s a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, and she’s the most gentle, loyal and devoted breed that I am yet to own. She’s been there with me through break downs, break ups, make ups, recovery, PTSD, therapy, having nowhere to live, finding somewhere to live, the happy times, the really happy times and now she’s coming on my journey to my new life right by my side. She’s taught me responsibility, helped me with my university studies (and taught me more about dogs than any human ever could) and she’s grown in confidence all the way with me. She’s nursed stray puppies and helped nervous dogs, I’m not saying she’s perfect, she was badly abused by her previous owners and will more than likely always be fearful, but she’s learning, she just needed some patience. All of this, from “yet another stray staffie” set to be put the sleep at the pound. End breed prejudice.
